Events

The Ashmont Adams neighborhood association hosts, sponsors, contributes, and promotes several neighborhood events each year. Beyond our monthly meetings, you can expect a few annual events such as our neighborhood cleanup, block parties, and charitable drives.

Below you can learn about events happening in their neighborhood, including those sponsored or hosted by the association as well as those intended for our community hosted by other organizations.

Monthly Meeting

Ashmont Adams neighborhood meetings take place on a monthly basis, typically on the first Thursday of the month with the exception of January. Our meetings provide the opportunity to engage with local leaders, law enforcement, developers, and other community members to share their knowledge and their opinion. All are welcome to join us at the Local 534 Plasterers and Cement Masons Union Hall on Minot Street.

You’ll also find out about dates from our newsletter, delivered right to your front door by neighborhood volunteers, or follow the group’s activities on Facebook.

Date: First Thursday of every month (except January) at 7pm

Dorchfest

Are you ready to rock? The first-ever Dorchfest is coming this way on June 4th run by a group of neighborhood volunteers. Listen to local musicians play throughout the neighborhood on a predefined route and schedule while tapping toes next to your neighbors.

You can follow Dorchfest updates by following their Facebook page and website, but make sure you save the date of June 4th.

Date: June 4th, 2022
